CODE OF CONDUCT
for CLUB OFFICIALS, PLAYERS, PARENTS/GUARDIANS AND SPECTATORS

FOLLOWING ARE A SET OF GUIDING PRINCIPLES ESTABLISHING A BENCHMARK FOR THE ACCEPTABLE CONDUCT OF BRENDON BEES JUNIOR FOOTBALL CLUB.

- If anyone associated with the Club has any complaints or misgivings about the running of the Club, then they may approach the Club Chairperson, Vice Chairperson or Secretary
- All team officials must be interviewed and appointed by the Club's Executive Committee.
- All club officials must be vetted and cleared with a CRB check.
- All team managers, coaches and assistants must obtain a recognised FA Coaching Certificate as soon, as is practicably possible.
- We must ALL encourage the children to play by the laws of the game.
- We must encourage the children to train and play for fun and not win at all costs.
- Parents and spectators must attempt to learn the laws of the game to enable them to become informed onlookers, understand better what they are looking at and appreciate the difficulties in interpretation.
- We must ALL set a good example by our conduct and attitude, younger players will then copy this.
- Appreciate good football and applaud all good play by both teams.
- Respect out opponents, without them, there would be no game.
- Never direct abuse and always demonstrate courtesy and good humour, do not use profane language, harass, or direct dissent at match officials or coaches, they are working for the children's benefit and enjoyment.
- Never ridicule or scold a child making a mistake during the game. Encourage by all means in a encouraging language.
- Condemn all violence in all circumstances.
- Never take the law into your own hands; let club officials sort out all problems, which may arise.
- Never be drawn into any disputes; do not get into arguments with other spectators, players or officials.

Remember FA Rule 25 - make every club responsible for the conduct of it's players, officials, spectators and followers before, during and after each game.
Failure to do so will result in those reported being charge by the county FA with misconduct and the club failing to control the parties reported.
